Favorite Hair Products
I've been asked about my favorite hair products a tior how I style my hair, so I thought I'd dust off this pretty little blog and share with ya'll! These are some of my tried and true, favorite products. I alway love to hear what other girls use too, so if you have a product you can't live without, I'd love for you to share it with me! Always looking for new things to try.
My hair is super fine, but I have a lot of it. It is also super straight! So I am all about ways to make it big and full so most of these products are just for that.
I've used this for a couple of years! It's the only curling tool I've ever used that actually keeps the curl. Search for coupon codes because you can almost always find one!
Spray this on after washing when its wet, before blow drying. I spray it at my roots then spray a little into my hands and run them lightly through the rest of my hair.
I use this to add texture to my fine hair. I have a lot of hair, but its really fine. Dry Shampoo has changed my hair life. I used to wash my hair every day, but now I wait about 4 days and use this in between. My hair is actually better off for it! It styles better, stays longer and just does better when it's not super clean. Also- This one is really "white" so sometimes, I will spray my roots with it just to lighten them, if say- they're looking a little dark, know what I mean ;)
(BTW I used to have an aversion to dry shampoo and people who used it because I thought it meant you're not taking showers! Haha! But no friends, I was wrong, you can take a shower without getting your hair wet, silly me- or as Judah would say "SIDDY Mom")
Just started using this one in between the Batiste because it's lighter and some days I don't need much, especially if it's just a little refresher. It also smells so good. I LOVE this one, It's quickly become my go to favorite over the Batiste.
I spray this on when my hair needs some texture (like after I've washed it and it feels too "clean" and doesn't want to do anything) I like to spray it on my ends after I'm all done styling it, just to 'finish' it. LOVE how it smells too.
Kenra Volume Spray 25: My favorite hairspray, but I only use before curling. Not a big fan of spraying my hair after because I like my hair to move. All about using it for extra body and hold though. I spray it all over my hair then brush it out and curl it.
Clairol Shimmer Lights Blonde Shampoo: I've used this for years to keep my blonde bright. I don't use it too often because it's really drying, but when I notice my blonde highlights are looking dull, I'll use this and keep it on for a few minutes in the shower. Always make sure to condition your hair after using it!
A little "tip" for how I style my hair...After I curl it with the wand, I brush it out! I know that sounds counter productive but the curls actually end up looking and staying better! I also tease it a little at the crown in back and on the sides.
Also, full disclosure, I probably take the time to style my hair about 2 maybe 3 times a week, depending. Otherwise you can most likely find me in a baseball hat ;)
